It was lovely and we played it at her 1st birthday party on a loop. However, I think something tangible like a book is a lovely keepsake. My advice would be capture all those ‘out-standing’ moments, the ones that make you glow when you think/see them. It may not just be a milestone, or an occasion. I just love to remind myself of those moments where I looked at her and thought ‘wow’ this is just the most magical and wonderful time in our lives :)

My sister and I were born in the era of Creative Memories scrapbooks, cheesy stickers, and those giant blue and maroon albums, but the dated albums and outfits don’t make a difference to me now.

Personally, though, I love smashbooks. I’ve never actually bought one, but I used to keep a little album full of paper ephemera, photos, and little notes about where they came from. I like to work with a physical album. I figure it can always be scanned into a computer later.
