Becci I’m SO glad to have given you comfort. All my fears before the birth were for Madeleine, but she was fine. The problem turned out to be ME! Once I owned my emotions (and writing this post has been a part of that ongoing journey) everything got better. Your little ones will love each other and your love will multiply. I’m so excited for you and can’t wait to hear your news!

Oh the guilt. Why is motherhood so filled with guilt? Thank goodness our children are free from all this internal turmoil.

I LOVE this. Oh the tears! I just had a baby girl in October. I was so worried about how my relationship with my 8 year old son would change. He’s my little buddy. We do everything together. I felt a lot of guilt following her birth because I really couldn’t spend as much time as I used to with my son. I’m so blessed that he isn’t jealous and loves to help do things with her. I think that’s helped a lot. Seeing him love her fills my heart up =)
