The office

With Madeleine just three weeks old, I had to go back to work last week, part time. On the up-side, I find my colleagues to be rather cuddly.

Looks to me like you have the best working space around. You're such a natural with Madeleine slung across you like that. That's the one thing I couldn't get out of my head when we spoke last week -- you looked like such a natural.

Have been catching up on all your posts, and loved this one the most! You're obviously one of those great journalists who are able to write in any environment... (I remember writing 10 chapters of a novel sitting on the floor of JFK airport one year. We do what we have to do to meet deadlines!)

So glad little Miss M is improving. Love your photos – and the writing too. It's lovely
