Daisy chains

Please pardon this proud (step) mama post. When Em turned 14 in July this year, she asked us for a ukelele as her present. She taught herself to play it. She wrote a song. So, to take you into the weekend, here is some sweet music from Madeleine’s very beautiful big sister.

Happy weekend. xo

  2. Wow, Em is so talented! What a voice. What a song. Seriously, I’d be surprised if she isn’t destined to be a star. Lots to be proud of, Naomi. x

  5. I loved this post! Such talent!
Has Em heard of that famous Hawaiian singer who did a ukelele version of ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’? The song has since been featured on a gazillion movies and websites – including 50 First Dates. I can’t think of his name (it’s very long), but tell her to Google ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’, Hawaii and ukelele. She’ll love it. He was superb on this instrument too.
    xx
