Today on my walk with Madeleine I saw many wonderful things.
* A butterfly inside a perfume shop.
* Two teenaged girls on either side of a water fountain in the park, joyfully pelting each other with water balloons.
* A small boy carefully balancing a QUADRUPLE DECKER ice-cream cone.
The things you see on a summer’s afternoon when you don’t have your camera.
Wonderful things! Your descriptions are lovely in my imagination.
Don’t you just hate not having your camera when you really need it? In my watery world half the time I have to go below to get the camera before I can capture what I’m seeing. By the time I get back on deck, the dolphins have moved on, the rainbow has faded…. Beautiful things left for another time. Good thing they’re imprinted on my memory.
That sounds like a wonderful day! It really verifies that the simple things make te world go round!
