And to think that I saw it on Rathdowne Street

Today on my walk with Madeleine I saw many wonderful things.

* A butterfly inside a perfume shop.

* Two teenaged girls on either side of a water fountain in the park, joyfully pelting each other with water balloons.

* A small boy carefully balancing a QUADRUPLE DECKER ice-cream cone.

The things you see on a summer’s afternoon when you don’t have your camera.

  1. Wonderful things! Your descriptions are lovely in my imagination. :)

  2. Don’t you just hate not having your camera when you really need it? In my watery world half the time I have to go below to get the camera before I can capture what I’m seeing. By the time I get back on deck, the dolphins have moved on, the rainbow has faded…. Beautiful things left for another time. Good thing they’re imprinted on my memory.

  3. That sounds like a wonderful day! It really verifies that the simple things make te world go round!
